Derrick Harvey
Class of 2001
Biography
As a member of the 2001 Boys' Indoor Track team Derrick placed 1st in the 55m Hurdles (school and state record), 1st in the 300m (school and state record), and 2nd in the 4x200 at the state championship meet. He was a district, region and state champion during all 4 years of his high school career. He has 5 state championship rings for his accomplishments. Derrick’s specialty was the 100 meter hurdles, the triple jump and the long jump.
