Kelly Booth Mann

Biography
Kelly was a 4 year letterman in softball and 3 year letterman in both basketball and volleyball at ACHS. She was selected first team all district outfielder in softball in '94 & '96, and awarded team MVP her sophomore, junior and senior years. Kelly batted lead-off for the Raiderettes and led the team all four years in stolen bases and runs scored. She was also selected to play in the Virginia High School League Coaches All-Star game her senior year in Hampton, VA. One of Kelly's most memorable moments during her softball career in Appomattox was pitching the game that ended the rivaled Rustburg Red Devils' 46 game winning streak her junior year. After high school, Kelly went on to play softball for the Lynchburg College Hornets where she earned All ODAC honors as well as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar-Athlete Award. She later transferred to Longwood College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture.
