Bob Hudson

Bob started teaching in Appomattox in 1980. Bob taught, coached and/or was Athletic Director at Appomattox for a total of 28 years. Along with teaching Health & PE at AMS and ACHS Bob was Head Boys Basketball coach for 7 seasons, He also coached Girls Basketball, Baseball, Football, Volleyball, and Softball as an Assistant Varsity and JV coach. Some of his best memories have come from working with so many great athletes and fellow coaches here in Appomattox County. His last 14 years working for Appomattox Schools Bob served as the Athletic Director for ACHS. He is currently working at Lynchburg Parks and Rec as an Activity Coordinator. Bob is married to Doris Hudson who works at the School Board Office. He stays busy following his 6 beautiful grandchildren of his daughter Danielle “Doodle” and son-in-law Jarrett Rowland.
