Randi Lawson Abell

Biography
A 2004 graduate, Randi pursued excellence both in the classroom and on the track throughout her four years. In her junior year, Randi was the indoor and outdoor Track and Field state champion in the pole vault. During her senior year, she was the Indoor Track and Field state champion in the pole vault, concluding her high school career with a total of three state championships. Randi took her skills on the track and the classroom to Lynchburg College where she competed for two more years before completing her degree in Exercise Science. Randi currently serves as the Associate Executive Director for the Jamerson Family Center of the YMCA of Central Virginia where her athletic experience continues both personally and professionally through the promotion of health and well-being to the community. She resides in Forest, Va with her husband Shawn and 11 year old daughter, Paisley.
